Here's a pretty good discussion of supply and demand. You don't have to do any of the activities, just reading it should give you a pretty good idea of what it's talking about.

How to read a data sheet

Here's a really useful link for learning what all of the abbreviations and numbers mean on a stock data sheet. Just roll you mouse over the item, and brief description will pop up.

QQQQ

I forgot to mention, I sold the QQQQ shares we owned on Friday after the market started to tank. We came out making about $1.30 a share. Which, if you multiply that by 500 shares isn't so bad.

Ranking after Week 1

Ok, after the first week, we are currently 1st in the region and 25th in the state. We have a grand total of $100466.84. So, we're doing all right so far. If anyone's got any investment ideas you can post them here or somewhere else on the blog. That's all for now.
